After departing Seattle yesterday morning Aaron, Steve and Rick headed east on I-90, over Snoqualmie Pass and across the plains of eastern Washington to their first travel day’s destination: Spokane, Washington and the home of Tammy’s sister (and Aaron’s aunt) and her husband, Debbie and Cliff Cox.
For this first day on the road the weather was fair and warm and the travel uneventful. Upon arriving in Spokane our intrepid trio was greeted by Tammy and Mariah, who had driven over to spend the 4th with Cliff and Debbie. Also greeting the riders was Tammy’s Aunt Sally, who fully lived up to her reputation as the family card, as you can see in these pictures.
After spending the evening and part of the 4th in Spokane Aaron and company left at midday on the 4th headed for Montana. If all goes according to plan they should be in Glacier National Park by Saturday.
Stay tuned for further adventures as Aaron continues his journey to discover the modern American West!
