Note: Traveling through land that once was the domain of the Blackfoot Indians and the fur trappers who dared to invade their territory, Aaron Bellingham and his companions, Steve Bellingham and Rick Nelson, continue their motorcycle tour through the American West. Here are Aaron’s journals for days 4 and 5 of their incredible adventure—from Glacier to Yellowstone:

Aaron’s Journal-July 6th, 2014…

We ride east through Glacier to leave and head to Bozeman. On our way we pass through the Blackfoot Nation where Rick get’s slightly hassled by the man. Then we go for food where I have a delicious elk burger. We continue our journey and saw this Montana sunset too beautiful to pass up. We finally get to Bozeman after a 12 hour day on the road.

Aaron’s Journal-July 7th, 2014…

We make it to Yellowstone with plenty of sights to see; where squirrels seemed to laugh at my Dad’s jokes with precision timing on numerous occasions. A wolf or a coyote walked through our camp less than 35 feet away from me (alas, I did not have my camera on me when that happened) and there are plenty of geysers and springs to take pictures of, some of which you can see here….

More to come soon!

Love, Aaron
